Whether your windows are cleaned by traditional means or the newer Water Fed Pole system, both are known for providing fantastic results you can rely on. But what exactly is the pole system or Water Fed Pole (WFP)? And why does Adjei's Cleaning Services use it? There are many benefits to gain from using the pole system. This blog explains some of the best advantages.
When using the WFP to clean windows, the most important thing to ensure is that pure water, also known as purified water (water from a source that has removed all impurities) is used.
Normal, drinkable tap-water, leaves deposits on the windows after drying. There are minerals in our drinking water such as sodium, calcium and copper - meaning tap water, when used alone, can leave marks on the windows after washing. On the other hand, pure water doesn’t have these minerals in it -meaning you can get great results without the use of detergents and without any nasty marks on the windows.
But how does the water achieve this? The water acts as the lubricant to break the bond between the dirt and the glass, and when the glass is clean, a rinse is given so that all contaminants are rinsed away. Simple!
Pole system advantages:
· Long reach for cleaning higher in flats and offices
· Environmentally friendly
· No cleaning products- meaning the glass stays cleaner for longer by not attracting dirt
· Streak free, clear glass
· Safer as operated from the ground only
· Ability to clean windows that are normally inaccessible. e.g. over conservatory roofs
